The relationship between light and architecture has driven my main research interest in weaving light architecture. The research is based on tools to work with light that allow experiencing the power and poetics of architecture. The hybrid structures with braided and interwoven elements were created, specifying the behaviour of the glass fibre reinforced plastic (gfrp) rod and pmma optical fibres. A development of new computation tools, and use of new types of material com-bined with traditional crafts led to the creation of a system, which allows initial conceptual design and light phenomena to correspond creating atmospheric, immersive architecture.
