Blackouts investigate in the relationship between memory and amnesia, the concrete and the abstract through a process of folding. The Fold, like the ones of Deleuze’s is not an uninterrupted straight line but a “becoming”; infinite variations of curved lines in different directions, scales or patterns for each piece in the collection.

The project interacts between the unconscious and conscious vision by interpreting Henri Bergson’s intuition as a source for truth perceived through durations and that memory means consciousness.

Each piece is sending a philosophical message about our time of collective and individual memory loss of history and traditions.
