Graphic Conservation

Preservation of paper, print, photos, films and other forms of graphic material

Short about Graphic Conservation

On the Bachelor's program Graphic Conservation, you are taught how to preserve paper such as manuscripts, prints and art on paper. We also work with materials such as leather, book bindings, photos, films and audio and data-bearing media.

You will gain a basic theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills in the conservation and restoration of traditional and modern materials that function as carriers of text, image and sound.

You will learn to use advanced technology and specialized laboratory equipment so that you can perform the best conservation treatment, while learning to create the best protective and life-prolonging conditions and environments for the objects
