Research and Collaboration

The programme is driven by research. Therefore, students will naturally be involved in research projects conducted within the areas of fashion, clothing and textile sustainability.

Formats include lectures at the Royal Danish Academy, workshops or exhibitions. We also engage experts, NGOs or organisations involved with textile circularity and innovation or design development for fashion sustainability - in both Denmark and abroad.

Examples of collaboration partners: the DK Innovation network Lifestyle & Design Cluster, Copenhagen Fashion Week and Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF), Copenhagen Fashion Film Festival, Copenhagen Business School, the London College of Fashion/UK, OsloMet/NO, the National Research University HSE/RU, the National Museum of Denmark, Designmuseum Denmark, Museum Midtjylland and many more…
