Architecture and Culture

We deals with architecture in which the tiniest details fit in with big societal projects

Short about Architecture and Culture

At the Institute of Architecture and Culture we address architecture as a cultural phenomenon with social, ideological, political, historical and aesthetic aspects. We work on drawing and theory, historical and contemporary architecture, technology and philosophy, wooden models and conceptual models, doorframes and town plans. The Institute represents a kind of architecture, in which the tiniest detail is as important as the major social project.

Statement

We work with the relation between architecture and the weird hotchpotch that culture is. Our interest in the historical is key and forward-looking.
