Third year BA students just completed a project in close collaboration with fashion brand Karen by Simonsen. The students worked in teams of three that were assigned the task of developing  existing lines within the brand. The challenge was to strike an operative balance between working within the brand’s DNA while also pushing the boundaries in creative ways through concept, techniques, materials and sartorial assemblage.

The results were innovative yet commercial exploring contemporary consumers and their appetite for heritage, gender-play, narratives and comfort.
