Julie Amalie Svensson

As a Masters student, Julie was passionate about giving old clothes new life by rediscovering a hidden beauty in them. A fashionable magpie, she scavenged thrift stores, dumpsters and attics to refurbish found clothing and fabric as a comment to over-production and mindless consumption but also as source of aesthetic inspiration.

Julie is currently a designer with Preen by Thornton Begazzi.
